All About Me

Hi! My name is Kim Bradford. I am the School Counselor at Prairie Creek and have been here since 2009. I have a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Pittsburg State University, a Master's degree in Learning Disabilities from Emporia State University and a Master's degree in School Counseling from Wichita State University. My family includes my husband, Paul, and our two children, Karlyn and Connor, who are both college students. My career in education began as a Developmental Kindergarten teacher in Chanute, Kansas. Next, I accepted a position as Project Coordinator for TICLE, Technology In a Collaborative Learning Environment. When we moved to Wichita, I took off a few years to be home with my babies. During that time, I also taught a college class at Newman University. When I was ready to get back to teaching full time I accepted a position as a computer teacher in Andover. A move to Overland Park brought me into a position as a Resource teacher in the Blue Valley school district. When we returned to Wichita, I worked as a Resource teacher in USD 259 before completing my School Counseling degree and coming to Prairie Creek!
