Hello! I'm Jalynn Michler, K-2 Resource Teacher at Prairie Creek Elementary. This will be my third year teaching and i've very excited to see the smiling faces of all the students!
I grew up in a small rural town in Iowa and moved to Kansas to pursue a college degree at Newman University. I graduated in 2013 with my bachelors in elementary education. I'm currently finishing up my master's program at Fort Hays State University and will graduate in December with a degree in adaptive special education.
My husband (Chad) and I bought a house in Park City this summer and enjoyed moving in and getting settled. We have a miniature poodle (Maci) who is almost two years old and loves running around her new house!
I chose to pursue special education after growing up with a brother who is diagnosed Autistic. He has taught me how to be patient, understanding and loving towards those who have disabilities. I feel fortunate to be able to understand from both the teacher and family side of things.
