About Our School

Prairie Creek Elementary School is a team of students, parents, faculty and staff that support each other in all we do. Our staff consists of more than 40 certified staff teachers and more than 35 classified support staff who work together to serve approximately 500 students from Early Learning through 5th grade.

We are very proud of the work that our team has done which has resulted in our school being recognized as a National Capturing Kids Hearts Showcase School. The award honors schools that build meaningful, productive relationships with every student and every colleague.

One unique thing about our school is that we are the home for all USD 385 Early Learning students. We have approximately 200 students in our Pre-K and Early Childhood programs. After Pre-K, students attend Kindergarten in their neighborhood school. After 5th grade, our students attend Andover Central Middle School and then move on to Andover Central High School.

At Prairie Creek our goal is to provide high levels of learning, so students are prepared for their future and achieve to pursue whatever passion that they have. Our staff is skilled in instructional delivery, current practices and understands the importance of the relationships they build with our students and families. We expect the best and do our best, knowing together we will be the best.

Please feel free to contact us for more information or to arrange a visit and remember at Prairie Creek, we have a lot of Panther PRIDE!
